Jazz  

Students focus on musicality, and technique; including turns, kicks and leaps, as well as rhythmic connection, style and community.

No strict dress code for clothing but dancer must have:

  • nude slide-on jazz shoes 

  • hair pulled back 

  • clothes that are easy and comfortable to move in

  • water bottle

Lyrical/Contemporary

Lyrical dance combines ballet and jazz technique where students tell stories through their movement. 

Contemporary dance allows students to combine athleticism with creativity. 

No strict dress code for clothing but dancer must have:

  • nude slide-on jazz shoes 

  • hair pulled back 

  • clothes that are easy and comfortable to move in

  • water bottle

Musical Theater

Musical theater class incorporates dance technique with theatrical music and performance elements. This class is for your Broadway loving dancer who loves to sing and dance. 

No strict dress code for clothing but dancer must have:

  • nude slide-on jazz shoes 

  • hair pulled back 

  • clothes that are easy and comfortable to move in

  • water bottle

Hip Hop

Students focus on connecting their movement to the rhythmic elements of the music while exploring personal style.  

No strict dress code for clothing but dancer must have:

  • white sneakers

  • hair in a ponytail 

  • clothes that are easy and comfortable to move in

Ballet

Ballet class focuses on body placement and alignment, and the coordination between the upper and lower body. 

No strict dress code for clothing but dancer must have:​ 

  • pink ballet shoes

  • hair in a bun 

  • Pink tights for recital 

  • clothes that are comfortable and easy to move in

Combo Classes 

Students explore movement, self expression, and rhythm. Class time is split between the two styles of dance. Depending on the class the dancer is enrolled in, classes will be an introduction to ballet, jazz, musical theater and/or lyrical. 

No strict dress code for clothing but dancers must have:

  • nude slide on jazz shoes (for jazz, lyrical, musical theater)

  • pink ballet slippers  (only for ballet)

  • white sneakers (for hip hop)

  • hair pulled back 

  • clothes that are easy and comfortable to move in
